Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

Removing and Installing Suction Filter Housing:




- Turn and pull off multiple pin connector (1).
- Unfasten screw from active carbon filter lead.




- Loosen hose clamp. Withdraw hoses (3, 4). Pull off gaiter.




- Open (four) clamps.




- Loosen retainers (1). Disconnect connector (2). Unfasten hose clip (3). Remove upper section of intake filter.




- Remove upper section of air-filter housing with air-flow sensor and gaiter.




Installation Note: Secure the lead and cable clips.




- Unscrew nuts.
- Unclip and remove lower section of housing.

Installation Note: Install suction snorkel and install lower section of housing in rubber mount.
