ASC Shift Intervention

ASC Shift Intervention

During certain periods of ASC regulation, the ASC control module will send a "Shift Intervention Signal" to the TCM. As a result, the characteristics of the programmed gear shifts can be temporarily suppressed on cornering gear changes.

The control signal is a switched high/low voltage, that is produced by the ASC control module. The signal is activated during the regulating phase to support ASC operation.

ASC -- ON/OFF
Pre AGS systems with the driver selectable winter program mode also receive an ASC On/Off status signal. The purpose of this signal is to cancel the winter shift program when ASC is switched off (if the winter program is active at the time).
