Wheel Speed Signals

Wheel Speed Signals (4X)

Certain AGS Systems require a road speed signal from each of the four vehicle wheels to provide the AGS curve recognition function.

ASC monitors each wheel speed sensor signal for it's control functions. The ASC generates an amplified output signal based on the raw wheel speed input signal. These signals are used individually by various systems in the vehicle for the purpose of monitoring vehicle speed.

The AGS system monitors all four to detect differences in the output frequencies to determine curves in the road.

NOTE: The A5S 360R transmission monitors the wheel speed differences via the CAN bus to provide curve recognition functionality.
