ADS II Actuator

Activation of the Engine Intake Air Control (ADS II) motor is an output function of the ASC/ADS II control module. During ASC control that requires throttle reduction to restore traction or maintain stability, the ASC control module will signal the ADS II module (early ADS control) or directly activate the ADS II actuator closing the ADS throttle valve for engine power reduction.

The ADS actuator is controlled by a modulated signal from either the ADS II control module or the ABS/ASC control module.
