Airbag Control Unit

WARNING: Review Service Precautions. Improper handling could cause activation of the airbag(s) and lead to injuries! Service Precautions

CAUTION: Disconnect negative battery lead.





- Press ventilation grill (1) upwards slightly, lift can holder (2) out from side and remove.





- Slide ventilation grill downwards and remove.





On vehicles with bore (2):
- Unfasten screws (1 and 3), with eject box only unfasten screws (1) and, if necessary, remove center armrest with complete eject box.

On vehicles without bore (2):
- Remove shelf.





- Release nuts and lift out control unit.

Installation Note:
- Before installing control unit, make sure the ground lead is fitted on stud bolt (1).





- Unlock connector and remove.
- Lift out control unit.
