Software Introduction And IDC Bulletins

With the introduction of new vehicle Systems, new software is also introduced. Information concerning the new software is contained in IDC bulletins such as:
- Highlight changes of software version compared to it's predecessor.
- Highlight program additions of the software to meet the requirements of the new systems.
- Provide contents of programs included on disc(s) and their required memory space.
- Provide downloading instructions specifically for the new discs.
- Provide specific "need to know" information to carry out trouble free coding and programming procedures.

When software is initially released, an occasional software error (bug) may be discovered that affects the proper operation of the software and the tools it controls. Any errors are addressed in follow up IDC bulletins with instructions for corrective actions or whom to contact. (Always reference IDC bulletins.)
