Steering Angle Sensor

DSC Matching Functions

It is necessary to carry out sensor matching after replacing certain DSC sensors. The calibration procedure involves setting the sensor signal applied at the control module to a defined "0 value" by adding a correction value (offset value). The corresponding offset value is stored in the control module. The preconditions for this procedure is that the vehicle is located in a defined position.

The following sensors must be matched:
- Steering angle sensor
- Transverse acceleration sensor
- Pressure sensors

The corresponding calibration procedure must be carried out if the transverse acceleration sensor or a pressure sensor is replaced. The calibration procedure for "all sensors" must be implemented if the control module or the steering angle sensor is replaced.

The corresponding testing schedules can be accessed via "function selection - service functions - chassis - dynamic stability control - matching functions".
