Antitheft System - No Start After EWS Calibration

SUBJECT
Starts only once following EWS calibration
MODEL
E60 (5 Series) Since start of series production to August 15, 2003
SITUATION
The vehicle does not start. The starter motor turns briefly, and then the fault message "DME 4A61 EWS manipulation" is entered in the fault memory.
CAUSE
The bolt connection on the wiring harness tapping (100 A fuse) for the battery positive lead (B+) is loose.
PROCEDURE
Tighten the bolt connection for the "B+" wire to torque
