E60: SZL FC 9504 "Steering Angle Implausible"

Complaint
"0x9504 implausible steering angle" is entered in the fault memory on vehicles without Active Steering (AFS).

Vehicles concerned: E60

Cause
Software error in the steering column switching centre (SZL).

Measure
A fault is being indicated when no fault is present. The fault memory entry must therefore be ignored and deleted. No further repairs are to be carried out. This fault will be rectified with the release of DIS CD V36.
