Removing and Installing/Replacing Left Eccentric Shaft Sensor




11 37 035 - Removing and installing/replacing left eccentric shaft sensor (N62/N62TU)





(cylinder bank 5 to 8)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove left cylinder head cover [1][2]Removing and Installing/Sealing Left Cylinder Head Cover





Unfasten screws.
Remove eccentric shaft sensor (1).





Installation:
Read out fault memory of control unit of Digital Motor Electronics (DME).
Check stored fault messages.
Rectify faults.
Now clear the fault memory.
