Removing and Installing/Replacing Right Eccentric Shaft Sensor




11 37 040 - Removing and installing/replacing right eccentric shaft sensor (N62/N62TU)





(cylinder bank 1 to 4)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove right cylinder head cover Removing and Installing/Sealing Right Cylinder Head Cover





Unfasten screws.
Remove eccentric shaft sensor (1).





Installation:
Read out fault memory of control unit of Digital Motor Electronics (DME).
Check stored fault messages.
Rectify faults.
Now clear the fault memory.
