Lateral Accelerometer: Service and Repair



Note:
Remove footwell side trim panel on A-pillar on left,
Fold floor trim panel and insulating mat to one side.

Caution: After replacing lateral acceleration sensor, carry out an adjustment with DIS (Diagnosis Information System) under menu point "Service functions".





Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Release metal screw (2) and plastic nut (3).
Remove lateral acceleration sensor (4).
Installation: Note installation position, plastic nut top left.
