Replacing Rotating Speed Sensor DSC



Note:
Remove driver's seat, manual normal seat/sports seat.
Electric normal seat/sports seat.
Remove footwell side trim panel on A-pillar on left.





Raise floor trim panel (1).
Move insulating wedge (2) approx. 8-10 cm forwards to gain access to rotation rate sensor (3).





Release screws (1). Loosen screws (2).

Caution:
Vibration-sensitive component.
Implement screw connection correctly, otherwise there may be malfunctions in the DSC.

Installation:
Bracket, rotation rate sensor to body 8 Nm





Tilt rotation rate sensor (1) upwards in direction (2) and remove in direction (3).





Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Release screws (2) and remove rotation rate sensor (3) from bracket (4).

Caution:
Vibration-sensitive component.
Implement screw connection correctly, otherwise there may be malfunctions in the DSC.

Installation:
Rotation-rate sensor/DSC sensor to holder 8 Nm
