The 6 channel HiFi amplifier in the luggage compartment of the (E83) X3 SAV is a modified version of the 10 channel HiFi amplifier from the (E85)Z4/E46 (3 series). Four channels are for the door loudspeakers (broadband loudspeaker or broadband speaker with additional tweeter) and 2 channels are for the central woofers.
The housing is constructed in the same way as the 10 channel HiFi amplifier in the (E85)Z4/E46 (3 series). The HiFi amplifier has on output of 4x25 watts for the midrange and high ranges and 2x40 watts for the low frequency.
