41 35 000 Removing And Installing/Replacing Side Panel, Front Left Or Right

Move hood lid into workshop position.
Remove and, if necessary, replace following parts:
- Trim on wheel arch, front
- Wheel arch cover, front
- Trim on headlight, bottom
- Auxiliary turn indicator light, front

CAUTION: Do not damage adjoining body parts.

Installation information:
The E53 gap dimensions serve as the basis for adjustment work for the following body work.
Seal connection points with sealing compound (sourcing reference: BMW Parts Service).
Check adjustment of hood lid, if necessary adjust hood lid.







Secure hood lid in position when releasing screws (1).
Release remaining screws (see arrow marks).
