Adjusting Toe-In on Front Axle (With Kds)

32 00 601 Adjusting toe-in on front axle (with KDS)

Move wheels and steering gear to straight-ahead position.
Markings on cap (1) and on housing (2) must match up. Secure steering wheel with steering wheel arrester.

Slacken clamping nut (1) on tie rod.
Adjust wheel toe-in to specified value by turning tie rod at hexagon head (2).
Installation:
Make sure steering sleeve is not twisted.
Tightening torque, 32 21 5AZ.
