In order to ensure that there is immediately sufficient system pressure to open the clutch for an engine startup, when the load cutoff is activated (on unlocking the vehicle) the SMG control module is wakened. The accumulator pressure is determined and if it is too low the hydraulic pump activated.

With the load-cutoff signal, the display in the instrument cluster is also activated and/or deactivated.
