Removing And Installing/Replacing Center Muffler

Warning: Scalding hazard!

These tasks should only be carried out on an exhaust system that has cooled down.

Note: Remove and install complete exhaust system.

Determining cutting lines:
Place new center muffler on exhaust system and mark cutting lines.





Cut exhaust pipes with special tool 00 2 210 at marked points and deburr.





Installation:
Connect new rear muffler and center muffler by means of clamping sleeves.
Connect front muffler and new center muffler by means of clamping sleeves.





Installation:
Check position of end pipes to body cutout.
Tighten down screws of clamping sleeves.
