CCC Navigation Address Book Shows Duplicate Entries after Programming
MODEL
E90, E91 (3 Series) with SA 609 CCC Navigation
E60, E61 (5 Series) with SA 609 CCC Navigation
E63, E64 (6 Series)
SITUATION
The customer may complain that since the vehicle software was updated using Progman V21.x, the navigation system address book shows duplicate entries.
CAUSE
Software error
PROCEDURE
1. Perform the following measures if the address book has duplicate entries.
2. Rename the duplicate entries with a different name.
3. Delete the duplicate entries that you have renamed.
4. If the entries cannot be renamed or duplicated, record all the customer address book entries.
5. Delete all the address book entries.
6. Re-enter in the address book all the customer entries.
7. This service information will be updated as soon as a solution is available.
