11 12 527 Dismantling a cylinder head reworking a valve seat (N52)

Special tools required:







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove cylinder head.
- Remove intake camshaft.
- Remove exhaust camshaft.
- Remove all valves.







Fit cylinder head on special tool 11 9 001.
From the special tool 00 3 580, insert the 5 mm pilots in a valve stem.
Select suitable seat cutter (1).
Turn cutter clockwise with light pressure. When the cutting is completed, execute 2 more turns without pressure on the cutter.

IMPORTANT: If necessary, perform an inner and outer seat correction.







Assemble engine.
