SUBJECT
Satellite Radio Inoperable after Programming with Progman V23
MODEL
E90, E91 (3 Series)
SITUATION
After programming with Progman V23.00.00 / 23.00.01 / 23.01.00 / 23.01.01 / 23.01.02 the Satellite Radio (SDARS) is inoperable on vehicles with RAD2.
CAUSE
The RAD2 software is incompatible with SDARS receivers produced from 09/2005 to 03/2006.
PROCEDURE
Reprogram the vehicle with Progman V23.01.03 which is available as Online-Update. Refer to SI B 09 05 01 (Coding, Individualization, Programming Procedure B).
In case the vehicle is already updated to the latest software, the RAD2 will be reprogrammed with compatible software.
