Transmission Temperature Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair
23 14 505 - Replacing transmission oil temperature sensor (GS6-53BZ) (S85/S65)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove underbody protection
- If necessary, remove left heat shields
Important!
After completion of work, check transmission fluid level Service and Repair.
Recycling:
Catch and dispose of gear oil with suitable equipment.
Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations.
Unlock plug (1) and remove.
Remove oil temperature sensor (2).
