Measuring Ride Level Height Of Vehicle

- Move vehicle into normal position, refer to "Normal Position, Inspection Conditions".





Measure actual ride-level height (A) from wheel arch lower edge (1) to rim flange (2) at height of wheel center.
Always form mean value for each axle after raising and/or lowering the vehicle body at each wheel.
If mean value deviates from nominal value, refer to Specifications.
Install coil spring, refer to selecting coil spring in parts information.
Vehicle with air suspension:
Perform height setting offset, refer to BMW Diagnosis System.
