SUBJECT
Speed Limit Detection Not Available

MODEL
F01, F02 (7 Series) with the Driver Assistance Package (ZDA) Vehicles produced up to March 1, 2009

SITUATION
The onboard electronic Integrated Owner's Manual (IBA) describes speed limit detection, but the feature is not available in the vehicle.

CAUSE
Error in the IBA; Speed Limit Detection is currently not available in the US market.

CORRECTION
Program the vehicle using ISTA/P 2.33.1 or later, to correct the IBA.

Note that ISTA/P will automatically reprogram and code all programmable control modules that do not have the latest software.
