SUBJECT
Windows or Sunroof Does Not Open with Remote Control

MODELS
F01, F02 (7 Series) vehicles produced up to February 26, 2009

SITUATION

The vehicle unlocks with the remote control but intermittently, the windows and sunroof do not open when the unlock button is held in the pressed position.

CAUSE

Car Access System (CAS) and remote control receiver (FBD11) software

[NEW] INFORMATION

The problem has been integrated into ISTA diagnostics. Follow the diagnosis test plan using the latest ISTA version.

In "Guided troubleshooting", select the "Fault pattern" tab. Select "04 locking systems / 0401 Remote control, identification transmitter". Press "Accept fault pattern / Calculate test plan", and select test plan "AW6100_WASi - Auto remote opening with remote control inoperative".
