Seat Temperature Control Module: Service and Repair




61 35 095 - Removing and installing/replacing control unit/module for seat heating (left or right rear seat)





Important!
Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic damage (ESD protection) 61 35 ... Notes on ESD Protection (Electro Static Discharge).





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Disconnect battery negative lead 61 20 900 Disconnecting and Connecting Battery Negative Lead
- Unclip and raise rear seat 52 26 000 Left or Right Rear Seat





Feed control unit/module for seat heating (1) out of rear seat (2).
Disconnect plug connections (3) and remove control unit/module for seat heating (1).

Installation Note:
Lay wiring harness so that it cannot be damaged when rear seat (2) is installed.
Make sure control unit/module for seat heating (1) is correctly seated in rear seat (2).
