Note:
The rear axle final drive has three oil chambers. The outer chambers (1, 3) contain the oil "SAF carbon mod", but with different filling capacities. The middle chamber (2) contains the "SAF XO Burmah Castrol" oil (refer to Operating Fluids). The oils will mix if the rear axle final drive is subject to a change in position in excess of 45°.





Warning!
Risk of burning if exhaust system is touched!
Danger of poisoning if oil is ingested/absorbed through the skin!
Danger of injury if oil comes into contact with eyes and skin!





Open oil filler plugs (1).

Check oil level in outer chambers; if necessary, top up "SAF carbon mod" up to lower edge of opening for oil filler plug (1).

Undo oil filler plug (2).

Check oil level in middle chamber; if necessary, top up "SAF XO Burmah Castrol" up to lower edge of opening for oil filler plug (2).

Replace oil filler plugs (1, 2).

Tightening torque 33 11 3AZ.
