Engine Controls - No ICM Communication After Programming

SUBJECT
No Communication with ICM After Programming

MODEL
E71 (X6)

SITUATION
1. After programming with the current PROGMAN version (V31 or higher), there is no communication with the ICM module.

2. Fault Code 6422 "Interface QMVH" is stored in the ICM (Integrated Chassis Module).

CAUSE
Software status in the ICM control unit

CORRECTION
After any programming, allow the vehicle to enter a sleep mode. Perform a manual start-up of the QMVH through the Diagnostic Service Functions. After the manual QMVH start-up, communication with the ICM module will be restored, and fault code 6422 can be cleared.
