Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair



13 71 000 Removing And Installing/Replacing Intake Silencer Housing (N55)







Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove intake port.







Detach line clip (1) from intake silencer housing in upward direction.
Unclip cable (2) from clamp and lay to one side.







Release clamp (2).

IMPORTANT:
Observe Tightening torque without fail.
If hose clamp is tightened with a higher Tightening torque, there is a risk of damage to the fresh air hose.

Tightening torque 13 71 3AZ.
Unlock connector (3) on hot film air mass meter and disconnect.
Pull intake silencer housing (1) off rubber mounts in an upward direction and remove.







Reassemble the vehicle.
