sensor not connected

Fault description
The diagnostic function monitors the signal from the pre-
catalyst oxygen sensor 2 and checks its plausibility against
the current operating condition.

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
The fault is recognized when voltage at the pre-catalyst
oxygen sensor 2 is > 4.8 V (lean) under partial or full load.
Potential problem source(s):
- Oxygen sensor not screwed in correctly
- Leak in exhaust/muffler system on engine side of oxygen
sensor
- Defect in wiring harness to oxygen sensor
Terminal condition: Terminal 15
Voltage condition:
- Electrical system voltage > 10.97 V
Temperature condition:
- None
Time condition:
- None
Other conditions:
- Engine at partial or full load

Condition for fault memory entry
This fault is logged in the control module's fault memory if
it remains present for longer than 25 sec.

Action in service
