Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

13 62 560 Removing And Installing/replacing Hot Film Air Mass Meter (N55)







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Read out fault memory of DME control unit.
- Switch off ignition.
- Remove ignition coil cover.







Release clamps along line (1).
Release clamp (2).
Tightening torque 13 71 3AZ.
Unlock connector (3) on hot film air mass meter and disconnect.
Release upper section of intake filter housing (4) at rear from clamps and remove in an upward direction.







Release screws (1).
Tightening torque 13 71 4AZ.
Pull hot film air mass meter (2) out of upper section of intake silencer housing.







NOTE:
Check stored fault message.
Delete fault memory.
