84 10 800 Removing and installing Combox







IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on protection against electrical damage (ESD protection).







NOTE: Comply with notes and instructions on handling optical fibre.







Necessary preliminary work:
- Disconnect negative battery cable
- Remove backrest







Unfasten aerial connectors (1) and disconnect.
Unlock plug connections (2) and disconnect.
Unscrew nuts (3).
Remove Combox telematics (4).

Installation note:
Observe colour coding of aerial connectors (1).







Replacement:
- Carry out vehicle programming/encoding
