Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

13 62 560 Removing And Installing/Replacing Left Or Right Air-Mass Flow Sensor (N63)







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Read out fault memory of DME control unit
- Switch off ignition
- Remove acoustic cover







Picture shows the left side, the procedure for the right side is identical.
Unlock plug (1) and remove.
Release screws (2).
Tightening torque 13 62 6AZ.
Pull air-mass flow sensor (3) out of upper section of intake filter housing.

Installation:
Replace gasket on air-mass flow sensor.







NOTE:
Check stored fault message.
Now clear the fault memory.
