Engine Continues to Run With Ignition Off

1. With ignition turned off and engine running, disconnect electrical connector from diode module, Fig. 2.
2. If engine stops, diode "C" is shorted. Replace diode module.
3. If engine continues to run, disconnect fuel solenoid pink wire connector.
4. If engine stops, repair or replace fuel solenoid.
5. If engine continues to run, stop engine by crimping flexible fuel return line near fuel supply pump, then repair or replace fuel solenoid.
