Throttle Valve Cable Replace

1. Remove the air cleaner assembly.

2. Remove cable terminal from throttle lever. Do not pry on the plastic cable terminal to disconnect the cable from the throttle lever. Pull cable toward front of vehicle.

3. Remove cable assembly from bracket, by compressing locking tangs, then remove the routing clips or straps.

4. Raise and support vehicle.

5. Remove bolt and washer securing TV cable to transmission.

6. Remove the seal from the transmission case hole.

7. Disconnect TV cable from transmission link.

8. Reverse procedure to install. Install new case seal and torque TV cable bolt to specifications.
