Valve Body Replace

1. Drain transmission oil pan.

2. Remove oil pan and filter.

3. Remove screw and washer securing T.V. cable to transmission and disconnect the cable.

4. Remove throttle lever and bracket assembly. Use caution not to bend throttle lever link.

5. Disconnect electrical connectors at the 4-3 pressure switch and the 4th clutch pressure switch.

6. Remove solenoid attaching bolts, clips and solenoid assembly.

7. Remove manual detent roller and spring assembly.

8. Remove valve body retaining bolts while supporting valve body. Secure manual valve and remove valve body. Use caution not to lose the three check balls.

9. Reverse procedure to install. Torque valve body bolts to 12 ft lbs.
