Sensor Replacement

To replace camshaft position sensor, it is not necessary to remove drive assembly. If drive assembly replacement is required, refer to Camshaft Position Sensor Drive Assembly Replacement.
1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove ignition module 14-way connector.
2. Disconnect spark plug wires from ignition coil.
3. Remove ignition module bracket assembly.
4. Disconnect sensor wiring, then remove sensor securing screws and sensor.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
