Rear Wheel Alignment

Rear wheel toe is the only adjustable angle. If camber is not within specifications, inspect for worn or damaged rear suspension components. Before checking rear trim height or measuring rear alignment angles, the following procedure should be performed to ensure that the rear air-adjustable struts are filled with residual pressure only.
1. Place a weight of at least 300 lbs. in vehicle trunk.
2. Turn ignition on.
3. Turn ignition off and remove weight from trunk.
4. Wait 30 seconds for ELC system to exhaust.
5. Roll car forward or backward at least 25 ft. to eliminate the effects of tire camber side thrust.
6. Jounce front and rear bumpers 3 times to normalize suspension prior to measuring angles.
