DESCRIPTION:

The BCM provides system voltage to the brake fluid circuits which will close to pull the line to ground. Once the BCM has determined that all the of the failure conditions have been met, it will send a message to the IPC instructing it to illuminate the "BRAKE" telltale.

TEST CONDITIONS:

Ignition is "ON."

FAILURE CONDITIONS:

1. Brake fluid level is low for at least 5.0 seconds.
OR
2. Parking brake set with transmission not in Park or Neutral.

ACTION TAKEN:

1. Illuminate the "BRAKE" indicator light on the IPC.
