Throttle Position Sensor: Adjustments

PROCEDURE:

2. Loosen the attaching screws, to finger tight.
3. Install three jumper wires between the TPS and harness connector, or use a SCAN tool.
4. With the ignition ON, use a digital voltmeter connected to terminals B and C and adjust to specification, see SPECIFICATIONS/ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC.
5. Tighten the screws, then recheck voltage reading to insure the adjustment has not changed.
6. With ignition OFF, remove jumper wires and connect the harness to the TPS.
