Neutral Safety Switch: Service and Repair

1. Set parking brake, place gear selector in ``Neutral'' position.
2. Remove linkage bracket attaching nut, then linkage bracket, Fig. 9.
3. Remove switch attaching bolts, then switch.
4. Reverse procedure to install noting the following:
a. Torque Switch attaching bolts to 20 ft. lbs.
b. Adjust switch as outlined under ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES/BACK-UP LAMP/NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH.
