Component Tests and General Diagnostics

1. Check Fuse 15. If open, check for short to ground in CKT 60.
2. Check the Rear Defogger Grid for opens.
3. Check that grounds G200, G303 and G400 are clean and tight.
4. If both Mirror Defoggers are inoperative but Rear Defogger operates normally, check Fuse 16. If open, check for a short to ground in CKT 676. If OK, perform CHART 3.

Manual A/C
5. Check Fuse 17. If open, check for a short to ground in CKT 39.

Electronic A/C:
6. Check Fuse 3. If open, check for a short to ground in CKT 640.
7. Check Fuse 6. If open, check for a short to ground in CKT 50.
