EGR Valve: Service and Repair
EGR Valve Removal:
REMOVAL: 1.
Remove
EGR valve vacuum tube at valve.
2.
Remove two base flange bolts and
EGR.
3.
EGR Valve from engine.
INSTALLATION: 1.
Install
EGR using new gasket.
2.
Tighten the long bolt first to 15-30 N-m (11-22 lb. ft.).
3.
Re-connect vacuum hose to valve.
