Arming Sensor

1. Disarm airbag system as described under ``Airbag System Disarming.''
2. Remove instrument panel compartment and right outlets.
3. Remove electrical connector from retainer, then release connector position assurance (CPA) from connector and disconnect the connector.
4. Loosen sensor mounting bolts and remove sensor.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Tighten to specifications.
b. Ensure arming sensor is correctly mounted to mounting bracket.
c. Rearm airbag system as described under ``Airbag System Arming.'
