Forward Discriminating Sensor

1. Disarm airbag system as described under ``Airbag System Disarming.''
2. Remove grille from front of vehicle.
3. Remove sensor electrical connector from retainer.
4. Release connector position assurance (CPA) from connector and disconnect connector.
5. Remove sensor mounting bolts, then remove the sensor.
6. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Ensure sensor arrow points toward front of vehicle.
b. Tighten to specifications.
c. Rearm airbag system as described under ``Airbag System Arming.''
