Control Module HVAC: Adjustments
TEMPERATURE VALVE LINK ADJUSTMENTHVAC Programmer/Passenger Air Mix Valve Actuator, Replace:
Start vehicle. Set driver temperature to 32°C (90°F) at heater and A/C control assembly. Set passenger climate control assembly to full WARM. If ambient temperature is above 32°C (90°F), disconnect in-vehicle temperature sensor. Allow 45 seconds for Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) programmer output crank to move to warm position. Gently pull driver air mix valve crank towards programmer until valve hits its stop. Push threaded portion of link into slot on plastic pin on driver air mix valve crank. Gently pull passenger air mix valve crank toward actuator until valve hits its stop. Push threaded portion into slot on plastic pin of passenger air mix valve crank.
