1. Park vehicle on a level surface, then depressurize Powermaster III. Refer to DEPRESSURIZING POWERMASTER III.
2. Clean reservoir cover, then remove cover and diaphragm assembly from the Powermaster III. Note fluid level in reservoir chambers.
3. If any chamber is underfilled, Fig. 73, check for signs of leakage. Make repairs as necessary. Fill chambers with clean DOT 3 fluid only.
4. If chamber is overfilled, adjust fluid level. Do not contaminate fluid in brake system with dirt, dust, lubricants, oils, or other substance.
5. Replace diaphragm assembly and cover.
6. Turn ignition switch to the On position. Allow system to pressurize.
7. Depressurize Powermaster III, then check fluid level.
8. If reservoir chamber is again overfilled, repair or replace components as necessary.
