Drive Belt: Service and Repair

Serpentine Belt:

NOTICE: Care should be taken to avoid twisting or bending the tensioner when applying torque. Damage to belt tensioner may occur.

Remove or Disconnect

1. Secondary air injection pump belt, if equipped.
2. Belt guard.
3. Lift or rotate tensioner using a 3/8 inch breaker bar.
4. Serpentine drive belt.

Install or Connect

1. Lift or rotate tensioner using a 3/8 inch breaker bar.
2. Serpentine drive belt.
3. Belt guard.
4. Secondary air injection pump belt, if equipped.
