Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) Replacement

Throttle Body:

REMOVE:
1. TP electrical connector.
2. Two TP attaching screws and retainers.
3. Throttle position sensor.

INSTALLATION:
1. With the throttle valve in the normal closed idle position, install the throttle position sensor on the throttle body assembly, making sure the TP Sensor pickup lever is located ABOVE the tang on the throttle actuator lever.
2. Install the retainers and two attaching screws using thread locking compound on the screws, Loctite 262, GM Part No. 1052624, or equivalent should be used. DO NOT tighten the screws until the TP Sensor is adjusted.

ADJUST:
The throttle position sensor is not adjustable.
