Radiator: Service and Repair

RADIATOR








Remove or Disconnect

1. Air cleaner and resonator assembly.
2. Drain engine coolant.
3. Cooling fan electrical connector.
4. Cooling fan screws and fan assembly.
5. Engine mount strut from radiator upper mounting panel.
6. Engine mount strut bracket from radiator upper mounting panel.
7. Radiator upper mounting panel screws and panel.
8. Transaxle oil cooler lines from radiator.
9. Coolant recovery hose from radiator neck.
10. Upper and lower radiator hoses from radiator.
11. Radiator.

Install or Connect

1. Radiator.
2. Upper and lower radiator hoses to radiator.
3. Coolant recovery hose to radiator neck.
4. Transaxie oil cooler lines to radiator.
5. Radiator upper mounting panel and screws.

Tighten Bolts/screws to 10 N.m (89 lb. in.).

6. Engine mount strut bracket to radiator upper mounting panel.

Tighten Engine mount strut bracket bolt/screw to 24 N.m (18 lb. ft.).

7. Engine mount strut to radiator upper mounting panel.

Tighten Engine mount strut nut to 53 N.m (39 lb. ft.).

8. Cooling fan assembly.

Tighten Fan bolts/screws to 10 N.m (89 lb. in.).

9. Cooling fan electrical connector.
10. Top off radiator with 50/50 ethylene glycol/water coolant mixture.
11. Air cleaner and resonator assembly.

Inspect

^ For coolant leaks.
